Rotary Presentation to Bridport Hospital - September 29th, 2009
A cheque for £6500 was presented to Heather Purse, Acting Matron of Bridport Community Hospital, at Highlands End.
This donation will be used to buy a portable ultrasound bladder scanner for use on the wards and in the outpatients department. The scanner which will show a picture of the patient’s bladder, will help to investigate whethern they have any continence problems. It will also be useful for helping to treat men with prostate conditions.
Heather Purse, Acting Matron of Bridport Community Hospital, said: “We are extremely grateful to the Rotary Club for their generosity. This is a really useful diagnostic tool which will be of great benefit to patients”
