Community Service Committee

The Community Service Committee within the Rotary Club of Bridport is, as the title suggests, responsible for organising and supporting events that benefit the local community. 
Such events include:- 

• KIDS OUT - a fun day out for children with special needs
• Aranging & hosting a Christmas party for the Senior Citizens of Bridport
• Assisting in the delivery of Meals on Wheels 
• Taking a group of children from Mountjoy Special School to the local pantomine 
• Planning a party for partially sighted members of the community
• Joining with other Rotary Clubs to provide an afternoon outing for the elderly 

The committee also receives many requests for funding from a wide range of both individual and group organisations within the town and is often able to give financial support, as agreed by the Club, to various
needy causes.
Financing for all these projects comes from within the Club and is generated by the work of the Fund Raising Committee and from our Business Partners donations.
