Colfox Expedition to Kenya - September 21st, 2010

President Brian Evans presenting cheques, valued £1500, to the Colfox students going to Kenya watched by Clive Jeanes who led the fund raising for this project.

Following the award the Headteacher of the Sir John Colfox School sent this letter:

I would like to thank you for the money that the Rotary Club of Bridport have donated to our students who are planning the expedition to Kenya. This will undoubtedly be a life changing experience for them both in terms of the the preparations needed for it and the experience itself. We very much hope it will be of great benefit to others too.

Bridport Rotary has been really supportive in this area over the years and has helped students in developing their leadership skills. As a result students are able to aspire to things that they would never have dreamed of.
We value your support very much and I know the students are extremely grateful.
